Joanna Krupa?s relationship to Romain Zago may seem like it?s falling apart right before our eyes on Real Housewives of Miami but Joanna is insisting that filming the show actually helped her communicate with her fiance a lot better! The couple broke up a few weeks ago, calling off their fve and a half year engagement but have recently reconciled. Joanna is also coming to friend Karent?s defense saying that she is real and doesn?t understand why so many seem to dislike her.
Joanna is telling OK! Magazine that since she is bi-coastal and away from Romain too often, she relied on texting and e-mailing to communicate with him. The show required them to actually interact face to face so Joanna is thankful that RHOM helped her communicate better. She tells the magazine, ?I think the reality show in a way saved our relationship because we communicate better. I have a bad way of communicating since I travel so much. I text message and email and you don?t talk face to face and during the show we had to talk about things that were bothering us or things that were happening at the moment so I feel I definitely became better at communicating. I became better at knowing what I want and for me it was like therapy.?
Another perk of the show is Joanna?s new BFF Karent Sierra! Karent has come under fire and Joanna is sticking up for her saying, ?I think she?s very real. I know some people don?t like her and I can?t figure out why. She loves to smile. It?s just her sense of dealing with situations and especially being put in a room with so many crazy vicious women, the best thing is to smile. If we do have another season I?ll be smiling.?
I don?t understand how the show ?saved? her relationship if they clearly had major problems after, including a break-up and calling off their engagement. I do see how it could have improved communication, though.
